City Spectrum Advertising Terms

Business & For-Profit Organization Advertisement Listings

A.    Payment: All payment for advertisement is due in full with submission of your company/organization information. Fees for monthly-based services are due no later than on the first day of the month, or the first business day following the first day of the month, excluding legal holidays. Payment by company or organization check, Visa or MasterCard accepted. Make checks payable to Promotional Design Associates. $20.00 NSF fee applies for any returned check. We reserve the right to suspend posting of your ad until such time that full payment is made.

B.     Privacy Policy: Promotional Design Associates will not, under any circumstance, disclose any information submitted to us by you, to any third-party vendor, individual, or information service, whether for sale or otherwise. However, since your advertisement becomes public once it is posted on our site, we have no control and/or liability over any solicitations you may receive from third parties as a result of viewing your listing.  

C.    Prices: Prices shown are for advertising packages submitted with all company/organization information, specifics, photos, logos, graphics and overviews written, created and/or produced by you, the customer. Separate fees apply if you want us to edit your information, write the entire ad, take digital photographs, or create custom graphics and/or a company/organization logo for your Spectrum Pages or Mini-Web. Rates vary based on required work and ad package. Call for quotation.

D.    Posting: Once we receive your information and payment, we will compile and post your new listing within three (3) business days, excluding legal holidays and/or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you by e-mail, phone or fax with your listing category and/or subcategory and URL address. Please verify that your information as shown on our site is accurate.

E.     Content: We reserve the right to refuse posting of any listing that contains material that can reasonably be construed as offensive and/or unlawful. By submitting your business information to us for posting on our site, you certify that your business/organization is in good standing within the community, and that you are in compliance with any/all local, county, state and/or federal guidelines governing your business/organization. You agree that your listing on our site in no way represents any endorsement of your business/organization on our part. You further agree that any patent, trademark and/or copywrite violations that may occur via the material you submit to us shall be your sole responsibility to rectify, as prescribed by law, whether based upon your infringement against another party, or directed against you by another party. We reserve the right to refuse posting of any information/photo/graphic that we know in advance to be in violation of any copywrite, trademark and/or patent, and/or remove and information/photo/graphic deemed to be in said violation after posting on our site without notification.

F.     Format: All Spectrum Pages and Mini-Web sites are created based on our templated designs. Therefore, we reserve the right to format any and all information you submit to us to fit within our templates. This includes, but is not limited to, limitations on total word count(s) per line/paragraph/page, sizing and placement of logos/photos/graphics, color schemes and appropriate category placement. If your business/organization does not fall within any of our listed categories, we will either add the appropriate category, or create a subcategory of an existing classification based on our discretion. You may elect to advertise in other related categories for the fees as shown on our Ad Programs/Rates page. We reserve the right to change the exact placement (URL) address of your site within City Spectrum if necessary, and without notification, to accommodate expansion of our site. Note: Your URL address on City Spectrum is not the same as if you register your own domain name. If you want your Spectrum Page and/or Mini-Web to have a domain name of your choice, contact us for rate.

G.    Warranty: Promotional Design Associates makes no warranty, express or implied, that your advertisement on our site is guaranteed any number of visits (hits) by the general public, nor that any visitation shall produce any particular result, favorable or otherwise, for your business or organization.

H.   Cancellation & Refunds: All pay listings are for a term of 12 months from the date of posting. Cancellations to a new listing must be submitted within seventy-two (72) hours of submission to us in order to qualify for a partial refund. Our refund policy within the seventy-two hour window is full payment minus a surcharge of twenty percent (20%) of the total amount of the listing charge. In the event that we are editing, writing, or have taken photographs for your Spectrum Pages or Mini-Web, fees paid for those services are non-refundable if any portion of those services have been completed prior to your cancellation. Fees paid on a monthly basis for additional services, such as multi-category and Preferred Listings within categories, must be cancelled within 30 days prior to the next month in which those services are scheduled to take effect. Advertisement may be removed from our site at any time within the 12-month annual period per your written request.

I.     Changes: If your business/organization relocates, changes phone, fax numbers and/or e-mail address, we will make these changes to your listing at no charge per your request. If you have a Spectrum Page or Mini-Web, changes to the content of your site are subject to a reasonable reworking fee. We do not verify the accuracy of your information after it has been posted, so any responsibility for changes to your listing are yours, the advertising party. 

J.     Preferred Listing Rates & Rules: Advertiser may elect to have a Preferred Listing in the primary business category and/or other categories. Fees are monthly: $50.00 for a first-place slot, $35.00 for a second-place slot, and $25.00 for a third-place slot. In the event that any slot(s) remain unfilled in any category, any paying advertiser is entitled to the highest unreserved slot available, and at the lowest available placement rate, at least until such time that another advertiser pays the full amount to occupy that position. Preferred Listings are assigned on a “First come, first served” basis, and are only guaranteed monthly, unless purchased in increments of six-month blocks in full, and in advance. Call for category eligibility and/or information.

 A written and signed contract is required for advertising on City Spectrum.
