What is City Spectrum?

Created in 1998 by Promotional Design Associates, City Spectrum was started as a general information project for the Santa Clarita Valley. Nearly three years later, the site is several hundred pages deep and receives nearly 5000 visits and 30, 000 hits per month, placing it at or near the top of most visited sites for this community.

What's in store for City Spectrum in the near future?

A LOT! We've recently launched a new broad-based marketing plan to expand the site into all areas of interest to Santa Clarita residents. Some of these include monitored Classifieds, Announcements and Forums boards, a new array of useful family-oriented and business information pages, city consumer and business news, local sports scores and highlights, music and entertainment, clubs and organization news, youth, parenting, "guy/gal things" and seniors sections, games and much, much more!! Can I contribute my knowledge and expertise to City Spectrum?

YES! We're accepting requests from community members who want to contribute to City Spectrum as feature and topic writers/reporters and online content developers. If you have publishable writing skills and want to cover a particular subject of interest to the community (on a voluntary basis), we want to talk to you! What type of business benefits most from a listing on City Spectrum?

Any business that serves the broad-based needs of residents of our community, i.e., a "Business to Consumer (B2C)" company. This includes every conceivable product and service from accounting to yogurt, and everything in between. City Spectrum is especially suited for cost-conscious smaller or home- based businesses requiring volume exposure at a very economical rate.

How much does it cost to advertise my business on City Spectrum?

We offer several different economical solutions for business advertising. Basic listings start as low as $25.00 per year, with other enhancements and packages available. Can I advertise my business or organization on your site if we're not based in Santa Clarita?

Absolutely. We intend to publicize our site opportunities in The Antelope and San Fernando valleys, as well as in the city of Ventura, though any business or organization in southern/central California that can provide our residents with valuable products, services and information are also welcome to advertise with us. The same applies for editorial and feature articles submitted to us by individuals, though we may afford priority to local residents over outside area contributors if server space becomes an issue.

Can a private organization, association or club receive a listing on City Spectrum?

Yes! In the case of non-profit charities, organizations and associations which are engaged in assisting citizens or providing services to the community for the improvement of the quality of life for residents, a complimentary listing may be issued under an appropriate category. Examples include food banks, homeless shelters, crisis and substance abuse centers, specific church-affiliated ministries, etc. Privately managed clubs or organizations formed around topics of interest, hobbies, activities, affiliations, etc., as well as professional business and/or trade associations/organizations are subject to a minimum Basic Listing fee of $25.00 per year. Is the information on City Spectrum monitored for suitable content?

Yes. City Spectrum is a family-oriented website, and all postings must meet our strict criteria for suitability of viewing by persons of all ages or they will be removed in a timely manner. In addition, our Classifieds section is monitored for both suitability and correctness of classification. To report an offensive posting, please contact our Administration Dept. at (661) 269-1823 during normal business hours, or via e-mail: webmaster@cityspectrum.com .We reserve the right to maintain, edit, or remove any listed information at our discretion.
